Saw this sign at Palau Ubin which said Guan Yin Stone.
Out of curiousity, I followed the sign which led to an open ground where a number of people are lighting joss sticks and praying away. I was looking high and low but couldn’t find any Guan Yin Stone. Then this old uncle standing nearby enlightened me. He pointed to me in the direction of the quarry and there I saw it – an image on the stone quarry that looks like a statue of Guan Yin.
He told me that the quarry was closed for quite awhile but only recently, few months back, the image of what look like Goddess of Mercy appears.
The stone looks creepy…Must be kinda eerie at night

Excelsvr: Erm… never looked at that place at night so dunno if it looks creepy. But then if it’s supposed to look like Goddess of Mercy .. erm dun think it would be creepy mah.

Maybe it glows in the dark?
Ah…..glows in the dark. Depending on how it glows, overall kinda enlightenment light seems fine with me but defintitely not at the eyes. That will be creepy!
