Jane’s Cake Shop @ Jalan Kayu

Got a really nice durian cake for my dad’s birthday from Jane’s Cake Shop @ Jalan Kayu.

Despite the plain look of the durian cake, it tasted heavenly with every bite. Layers of durian mousse with lotsa durian flesh were sandwiched between layers of sponge cake. Paid about $36 for the cake shown below

I brought the durian cake last week and was so disappointed with the taste.
It taste so ordinary, the durian taste is not strong enough. Emi cake is nicer…..

Should try the Chocolate Fudge Cake. If you like something tht is not too sweet, light moist in texture, you should go for it, even after a heavy meal, you will still go for more after the first slice!
