My KL Trip (Part 3)

Pavillion is huge. This is only a section of it. It’s like our Takashimaya where you find alot of branded goods shops. In general, it’s cheaper to shop @ Singapore instead. Mostly window shopping for us. The things there are simply too ex. Not worth it at all.

GV Gold Class @ Pavillion. Not too sure abt the tix prices cos they weren’t displayed anywhere

MOF is opening a Chinese Restaurant @ Pavillion. Wonder if we have a similar one in Singapore

Had desserts at MOF Japanese Sweets shop. They only serve desserts, drinks and sandwiches. No mains.

Desserts, drinks and sandwich menu

Everyday is MOF day

Their sandwiches looks good. But din get to try any cos still quite full from the lunch

this dessert has one fried yam and one fried sweet potato cube.. we top up to change the soft serve ice cream to macha ice cream
RM11 (for the dessert) + RM3 (for the upgrade in ice cream)
the cost of this dessert in Singapore MOF’s outlet is SGD6.20. Not sure how much u need to pay if u wanna upgrade the ice cream.
In general it’s cheaper (slightly) to have ur desserts there @ KL’s MOF

Mocha Frappacino

Hot Macha Latte served with soft mochi sweets

Hot Milo

total bill @ MOF is RM40

My KL Trip (Part 2)

Our room @ Dorsett Regency. The hotel is located just behind Westin, beside Ritz Carlton and Marriott. 3-5 mins walk to Pavillion.

The room was cosy and nice. Bed was comfy too.
View taken from the hotel room

Had dinner @ Pavillion’s Crystal Jade Restaurant.
Sweet Corn with Crab Meat soup (RM8 per serving)

Spinach cooked with 3 types of eggs in broth. Quite a healthy dish as it’s not salty nor oily.
The roast duck on hot plate was very very delicious.
As we took the promo set, these 2 dishes cost RM29.80

Roasted meat (Char Siew). The meat were very tender and succelent.

Loved these Ngor Hiang. They don’t taste very salty. It’s very very diff in terms of taste as compared to the Ngor Hiang we had in Singapore.

Loved this Sliced Fish fried with spring onion and ginger dish. They used threadfin (Ngor Hee) for this dish instead of the usual Sang Yu we get in Singapore. Cost RM25.60.

Five Grains Rice with Pine Seeds in Hot Stone Pot. Really really loved this dish alot. Wonder if the Crystal Jade in Singapore serve this dish

Total bill comes up to approx RM156 (including all the taxes and surcharges and drinks).

My KL Trip (Part 1)

View of KL from the plane window

Took the KILA Ekspress & Limo service from the KLIA to my hotel (Dorsett Regency) @ Bukit Bintang.
Total cost = RM130 (for 2 adults) + RM15 (for 1 kid) = RM145. It’s not cheap but we took it for the experience.

it’s only 28 mins from the KLIA to KL Kentral. Quite fast. And the ride is so comfy that I fell asleep.

Interior of the KLIA Ekspress. Seats were comfy and there were spaces for you to put your luggage.

you can put ur drink on the little table top near ur seat.. and dump ur sweet wrappers or used tissue papers into the little bin just below the tabletop

There are even power sockets on the train… haha … comes in handy when ur hp is going flat and u can charge it on board the train.

Saw this advert on the train. Kids travel for free on board the train during this sch hols.

Toilet on board the train. Everything is sensor based. Door opened and closed automatically. So does the water and soap dispenser

I fell asleep during the entire train ride … haha.. too tired…
hubby took the following pics

These are condominiums. But somehow, they reminded me of the flats at Sengkang and Punggol

this one looks more like our HDB flats

approx 2 hrs (flight is 45 mins + clearance + train & cab ride). Faster than taking cab all the way cos we took a cab from hotel to KLIA on our return… took almost an hour
