Red Dot Traffic Walk-in Art Gallery

Was walking through the Red Dot Traffic building on my way to my lunch when the interesting art motifs on the columns and pillars caught my attention. What a nice and artistic way to decorate a mundane plain pillar. The paintings on the pillars turned the entire corridor into a walk-in art gallery.

Old Red Mailboxes.

Does these red mailboxes reminds you of olden days where the mailboxes are fashioned as such? I remembered there is one such mailbox at the gate of my grandmother’s zinc roof house at Old Nee Soon. Everyday, the mailman (with this round shaped hat) would cycle round the neighbourhood to deliver letters. The letters would be stuffed into the top opening of the mailboxes.

Chancing upon these red mailboxes at Red Dot Traffic brings back fond childhood memories.
