Tai Chi to destress

Hasn’t been in my pink of health lately. Seen a couple of doctors and also got admitted into hospital recently. I realised that health is such a valuable thing that you hope you have it but hard to find and keep, especially in Singapore where our lifestyles are so hectic.My dad told me that practising Tai Chi would help one to destress as it is about bringing the body, mind and soul together to achieve a state of relaxation and peace. It helps to manage stress as it can clam one’s nerves through the concentration on the movements and breathing. 

There are five main styles of Tai Chi - the ‘Chen ’, ’Yang ’, ‘Wu ’, ‘Wu ’ and ‘Sun . Tai Chi is easy to learn, but to be able to combine the combine one’s thoughts, movements and breathing as one takes practice.

Maybe I should start learning Tai Chi from my dad to help me destress huh :)
